Booking Terms and Conditions
White Plains Tours and Travel, hereafter referred to as White Plains, will use its best endeavors to ensure that the transport, accommodation, meals and other agreed services are provided fully in compliance with the services which we have contracted to provide. By booking a trip with us you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation itinerary.
White Plains and associated companies accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes, sickness, weather, strikes, civil disturbances, war, quarantine or other causes.
Baggage and personal effects are carried at owner’s risk and clients are cautioned against the risk of leaving them unattended.
Prices are valid from 01 January 2018 until 31 December 2018.
A deposit of 30% of the quoted price is required upon booking. The balance must reach us not less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the safari. Where bookings are made less than 30 days before commencement of the tour, full payment must be made in order to confirm the booking.
White Plains reserves the right to change any route or other arrangements, offer substitutes or to completely cancel the whole or any portion of a tour, should conditions necessitate. The right is also reserved to decline the acceptance of any person as a member of a tour should the presence of that person be prejudicial to the good conduct of the tour or be contrary to the prevailing laws of the country.
Photos and Marketing
You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose.
Certain safari lodges, hotels, and carriers charge cancellation fees depending upon the length of notice given. These fees and other expenses will be charged in accordance with the costs incurred by our company.
Cancellations must be received in writing. Charges are assessed depending on the number of days prior to the start of the tour that notice of cancellation is received and are as follows:
Above 40 days : Less $50 per person booking fee
15 – 40 days : 25% of total tour price
4 – 14 days : 35% of total tour price
Less than 4 days/no show : No refund
Claims and Complaints
If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your guide at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If not satisfied then the complaint should be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the tour.
These conditions shall be read and construed in all respects in accordance with the Laws of Kenya.
